Finally, after so much time of searching the internet, I've learned about a way to get rid of my 'table within a div' and just use Div's all together. This means that I could create this new layout without the hassle of old HTML and actually do some proper design work.
Having said and done this, I've also fixed a few perks inside the code, as well as updated the direct links to the Torrent sites on EZTV.it after their own recent downtime, wrote a new Contact Form that even fights the CC Injection bug in PHP.
ps: The Lenin face and the Soviet logo on the top image is meant to tick people off. ;)
CKBT's new website
What started out as my B2B Tiny Projects site (at t1.ckbt.org) resulted in a new website where I've gone back to the back to basic (B2B) ideas when it comes to creating websites. Using Wordpress was a great idea in a time where I dropped anything remotely close to webdesign itself and became lazy when it came to write posts in a standard format. But lately I've been heading back to the bright side of XHTML 1.0 Strict! and CSS Level 1.
Speaking of which. Even though I created this page to strict basic rules, doesn't mean anybody else has to. For me it's more about Back to Basic when it comes to XML/XHTML design then anything else. Makes things easier for me. So to answer the mail I received through my contact form from a person who wondered if I am one of those Strict Design people which I'll answer here.
Of course he could've asked in real life... neighbor..
It doesn't matter if one uses strict or not. As long as a website is the same in all browsers, it's good enough for me. And besides, I've used Points and Pixels in my CSS File while I should've been using EM. ;) So I'm not really strict everything but it just makes browsing easier for people. Hell, the biggest mistake people would point out when looking at my souce code is that I am using a table between my divs, and inside my main div.
What you may find here is the following:
- My Blogs
- My Poetry and Haiku
- Upgraded Shoutbox
- Online Media stuff
I'm not posting much, but when I do it'll either be a Blog-post or Poetry/Haiku. I won't check my shoutbox that often, mainly because I'm too busy with other stuff.
