CKBT's new website

What started out as my B2B Tiny Projects site (at t1.ckbt.org) resulted in a new website where I've gone back to the back to basic (B2B) ideas when it comes to creating websites. Using Wordpress was a great idea in a time where I dropped anything remotely close to webdesign itself and became lazy when it came to write posts in a standard format. But lately I've been heading back to the bright side of XHTML 1.0 Strict! and CSS Level 1.

Speaking of which. Even though I created this page to strict basic rules, doesn't mean anybody else has to. For me it's more about Back to Basic when it comes to XML/XHTML design then anything else. Makes things easier for me. So to answer the mail I received through my contact form from a person who wondered if I am one of those Strict Design people:

It doesn't matter if one uses strict or not. As long as a website is visible in all browsers, it's good enough for me. And besides, I am using Points and Pixels in my CSS File while I should've been using EM. ;) So I'm not really strict everything, but I do heed caution for websites that have too much functionality that it takes a while to load.

What you may find here is the following:

  • My Blogs
  • My Poetry and Haiku
  • Upgraded Shoutbox
  • Online Media stuff

I'm not posting much, but when I do it'll either be a Blog-post or Poetry/Haiku. I won't check my shoutbox that often, mainly because I'm too busy with other stuff.
